J\u2019ai travaill\u00e9 dans diff\u00e9rents secteurs : pompes industrielles, \u00e9quipements pour l\u2019application des peintures, grues mobiles, beaucoup dans l\u2019\u00e9quipement automobile.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>RD : Comment en \u00eates-vous venus \u00e0 faire des missions de Management de transition ?<\/strong><br \/> FD : En 2001, ma derni\u00e8re exp\u00e9rience de manager \u00ab permanent \u00bb s\u2019est av\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00eatre une situation de transition puisque j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 recrut\u00e9 comme Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral d\u2019une affaire industrielle cot\u00e9e pour succ\u00e9der \u00e0 3 g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de dirigeants d\u2019une m\u00eame famille. Au lieu de d\u00e9couvrir une belle endormie, j\u2019ai trouv\u00e9 une entreprise profond\u00e9ment malade et je suis entr\u00e9, de fait, en gestion de crise.<br \/> Apr\u00e8s avoir r\u00e9ussi le retournement de cette entreprise, on est venu me chercher pour d\u2019autres affaires en difficult\u00e9 et j\u2019ai ainsi commenc\u00e9 ma vie de manager de transition.<br \/> Je vis ce m\u00e9tier comme la continuit\u00e9 de ce que j\u2019ai aim\u00e9 faire dans les entreprises c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire g\u00e9rer des phases de transition, de changement. Ce peut \u00eatre des situations de crise, mais aussi de fort d\u00e9veloppement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>RD: Quelles sont les missions qui vous ont le plus marqu\u00e9es ?<\/strong><br \/> FD : Deux missions longues de redressement de soci\u00e9t\u00e9s de taille importante.<br \/> En 2006, j\u2019ai pris la pr\u00e9sidence d\u2019une entreprise de 5000 personnes dans l\u2019industrie du meuble. Une partie du groupe \u00e9tait en RJ. J\u2019ai pu \u00e9viter que l\u2019ensemble du Groupe ne tombe en RJ et, 1 an apr\u00e8s, les carnets de commande \u00e9taient remplis, le groupe retrouvait l\u2019\u00e9quilibre, un repositionnement strat\u00e9gique \u00e9tait initi\u00e9 et une restructuration financi\u00e8re \u00e9tait mise en \u0153uvre.<br \/> Actuellement, je suis en mission depuis 18 mois pour redresser une activit\u00e9 de 250 m\u20ac de chiffre d\u2019affaires au sein d\u2019un grand groupe international de mat\u00e9riaux de construction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>RD : Quelles sont, selon vous, les qualit\u00e9s essentielles n\u00e9cessaires d\u2019un bon dirigeant de transition ?<\/strong><br \/> FD : Il faut d\u2019abord aimer les situations de transition, \u00eatre une sorte d\u2019accoucheur du changement. J\u2019ai presque toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 conduit \u00e0 profond\u00e9ment modifier le diagnostic qui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 port\u00e9 par l\u2019actionnaire sur l\u2019entreprise. J\u2019ai eu plaisir \u00e0 d\u00e9bloquer des situations de crise de gouvernance, d\u2019actionnariat ou de management.<br \/> Ceci est possible \u00e0 condition d\u2019avoir d\u2019abord acquis une grande exp\u00e9rience, qui donne \u00e0 la fois confiance dans ses capacit\u00e9s d\u2019analyse et d\u2019action, et permet d\u2019asseoir sa l\u00e9gitimit\u00e9 et de pouvoir \u00eatre op\u00e9rationnel extr\u00eamement rapidement. Mais sans se d\u00e9partir de la plus grande modestie : ce n\u2019est pas parce qu\u2019on a r\u00e9ussi 5 fois que l\u2019on va automatiquement r\u00e9ussir le nouveau challenge. Il convient d\u2019accepter que chaque nouvelle mission est une remise en cause.<br \/> Ensuite, il faut avoir de la lucidit\u00e9 et faire preuve d\u2019ind\u00e9pendance d\u2019esprit : le manager de transition n\u2019est pas responsable du pass\u00e9 de l\u2019entreprise et, par ailleurs, il ne doit pas y avoir d\u2019enjeu personnel qui entraverait sa libert\u00e9 de jugement.<br \/> Enfin, il doit avoir le sens des priorit\u00e9s dans l\u2019action et d\u2019excellentes qualit\u00e9s de communication pour expliquer le sens de son action \u00e0 ses \u00e9quipes et au corps social, en particulier dans les situations de crise.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>RD : Quelles satisfactions personnelle et professionnelles vous apporte ce m\u00e9tier ?<\/strong><br \/> FD : je ne m\u2019ennuie jamais et j\u2019ai la satisfaction de voir qu\u2019il est toujours rest\u00e9 quelque chose de durable \u00e0 la suite de chacune de mes interventions. En outre, quel autre m\u00e9tier m\u2019aurait permis d\u2019\u00eatre 5 fois de suite PDG d\u2019entreprises importantes et dans des contextes de transformation significative ? C\u2019est extr\u00eamement motivant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>RD : EIM a invent\u00e9 ce m\u00e9tier il y a 25 ans et l\u2019a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 avec succ\u00e8s en France et en Europe. Quelles sont, selon vous, les raisons de ce succ\u00e8s ?<\/strong><br \/> FD : EIM a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 \u00e9tablir sa cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 et sa l\u00e9gitimit\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s de ses clients. EIM a su certes bien vendre son m\u00e9tier, mais en m\u00eame temps en faire progresser la r\u00e9flexion de ses clients.
