La prise de poste d\u2019un dirigeant a un retentissement particulier qui impr\u00e8gne toute la dur\u00e9e de son mandat. Une erreur de d\u00e9but de parcours peut se refl\u00e9ter n\u00e9gativement sur l\u2019image publique d\u2019un d\u00e9cideur<span>\u00a0<\/span><sup>(1)<\/sup>. Il est essentiel qu\u2019il en profite pour poser des questions et se rendre sur le terrain pour interagir de mani\u00e8re informelle avec les \u00e9quipes. Par ce biais,<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lopinion.fr\/edition\/economie\/nathalie-roos-cle-succes-en-entreprise-marier-l-humain-performance-241029\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">il peut faire parler les collaborateurs,<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00e9couter leurs demandes et d\u00e9celer les sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s de l\u2019organisation \u2014 les atouts comme les facteurs de risques \u2014 afin de disposer d\u2019une vision exhaustive des besoins d\u00e9cisionnels et des attentes des salari\u00e9s, actionnaires et clients.<\/p>\n<p>Ce n\u2019est, en tout cas, pas le moment de lancer des projets structurels, souvent pr\u00e9matur\u00e9s. Il est m\u00eame recommand\u00e9 par de nombreux dirigeants de diff\u00e9rer ceux d\u00e9j\u00e0 lanc\u00e9s avant la prise de poste pour se donner le temps d\u2019en \u00e9valuer la pertinence.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"wysiwyg_format--puce\">Affirmer son leadership : un impond\u00e9rable pour susciter la confiance<\/h4>\n<p>Au-del\u00e0 des enjeux strat\u00e9giques de d\u00e9veloppement, un changement de gouvernance suscite des attentes tr\u00e8s fortes en interne comme en externe. Les regards se braquent sur le dirigeant qui doit affirmer sa l\u00e9gitimit\u00e9 sans brusquer et donner \u00e0 voir l\u2019\u00e9vidence de sa nomination sans la revendiquer. Cette affirmation de soi passe par diff\u00e9rents leviers et souvent quelques actes et prises de d\u00e9cisions symboliques, pour afficher des valeurs, une direction ou une fa\u00e7on de faire (r\u00e9soudre vite des probl\u00e8mes r\u00e9currents, se s\u00e9parer de dirigeants non align\u00e9s\u2026). L\u2019explicitation d\u2019une vision nouvelle et enthousiasmante, ainsi que l\u2019obtention de premiers succ\u00e8s symboliques (n\u00e9gociation r\u00e9ussie avec les cr\u00e9anciers\u2026) attesteront ensuite d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 performer.<\/p>\n<p>Sans l\u2019acquisition rapide d\u2019une cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s des \u00e9quipes comme des parties prenantes, l\u2019influence du dirigeant et la confiance dont il peut b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier plafonnent rapidement, limitant sa capacit\u00e9 d\u2019action. Et ce, tout particuli\u00e8rement dans une \u00e9conomie o\u00f9 les d\u00e9fis se multiplient, avec notamment l\u2019importance croissante d\u2019enjeux strat\u00e9giques tels que la cybers\u00e9curit\u00e9, l\u2019environnement et la supply chain<sup><span>\u00a0<\/span>(2)<\/sup><span>\u00a0<\/span>qui arrivent<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.fr\/politique\/barometre-2019-sur-lopinion-des-dirigeants-dentreprise-les-patrons-sont-inquiets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">en t\u00eate des pr\u00e9occupations des dirigeants<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/a>et qui n\u00e9cessitent un leadership marqu\u00e9 et une forte capacit\u00e9 d\u2019engagement de la part de la gouvernance d\u2019entreprise.<\/p>\n<div id=\"ultimedia_lopinion\"><\/div>\n<h4 class=\"wysiwyg_format--puce\">Un horizon symbolique avant tout<\/h4>\n<p>S\u2019il est \u00e9vident qu\u2019un faux d\u00e9part est assez souvent difficile \u00e0 retourner pour les dirigeants, il convient in fine de souligner que les 100 jours demeurent avant tout un horizon symbolique plut\u00f4t qu\u2019une p\u00e9riode probatoire stricto sensu.<\/p>\n<p>Pour autant, cette dur\u00e9e a la vertu de fixer un premier cap, une \u00e9tape cl\u00e9, qui donne un tempo tant dans le cadre d\u2019une prise de fonction que dans la conduite de nombreux projets strat\u00e9giques, comme une int\u00e9gration post-acquisition,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lesechos.fr\/idees-debats\/cercle\/opinion-gestion-de-crise-etats-et-entreprises-meme-combat-1194817\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>\u00a0<\/span>une gestion de crise majeure<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/a>(type Covid) ou un retournement op\u00e9rationnel.
