Ceci peut se concevoir dans toutes les fonctions de l\u2019entreprise pour renforcer ou remplacer les \u00e9quipes en place dans des situations de transformation \u00e0 fort enjeu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">La qualit\u00e9 d\u2019une prestation de management de transition repose ainsi notamment sur la largeur et la profondeur du vivier de managers, dirigeants et experts, pour assurer une parfaite ad\u00e9quation entre le besoin et la ressource. EIM s\u2019est ensuite tr\u00e8s rapidement implant\u00e9 dans d\u2019autres pays europ\u00e9ens puis sur tous les continents, pour finalement prendre son ind\u00e9pendance \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 1990.<\/span>\n<span>Initialement d\u00e9nomm\u00e9 \u00ab interim management \u00bb, cette prestation de service consistait \u00e0 mettre \u00e0 la disposition des entreprises des cadres dirigeants tr\u00e8s exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s, pour faire face \u00e0 des vacances temporaires de postes dans l\u2019attente d\u2019un recrutement d\u00e9finitif. Les grosses op\u00e9rations de restructuration des ann\u00e9es 1990 ont ensuite favoris\u00e9 le recours ponctuel \u00e0 des ressources externes de dirigeants exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s, pratique qui a pris son essor. Enfin, \u00e0 l\u2019initiative d\u2019EIM, l\u2019offre s\u2019est \u00e9largie \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble des situations n\u00e9cessitant l\u2019apport temporaire de ressources manag\u00e9riales de tr\u00e8s haut niveau pour accompagner les entreprises dans tous leurs projets de transformation \u00e0 fort enjeu. EIM a alors cr\u00e9\u00e9 l\u2019appellation fran\u00e7aise \u00ab management de transition \u00bb qui englobe toutes ces situations.
