With London as this year’s venue for the 10th TMA Europe Conference it was natural that EIM would want to be involved in supporting an event of growing significance in the European Turnaround and Restructuring marketplace. A full house with a good mixture of advisers, investors, lenders, turnaround practitioners and consultants from all over Europe – not all of it mainstream by any means – all wanting to take the opportunity to learn and network.

Typical of the TMA, the headline speakers and panellists provided cogent and informed opinion with a good sprinkling of lighter, non-core content to match. The impact of Brexit on the markets we serve featured quite significantly, both from Europeans looking outwards (mostly kindly & positively) to their hosts and the resident community remaining as baffled as ever but welcoming new friends and contacts to broaden the scope of their understanding of all our futures.

Chaired by Ian Gray, one of the UK’s most respected senior restructuring practitioners, our thanks to him and his TMA Europe team for a memorable event.
